Case Study: How to treat the issue when MBR skid don't produce water?

500T/D MBR System operation

Location: Domestic China

Capacity: 500T/D

Module: MS-FSF-8020 80pcs, 20pcs/cassette, double membrane tank

Issue: Not effluent water

Solutions：

In general, MBR system not permeate water's reasons:

1. Suction pump: a. Pump core no water, b. Pump electricity line wrong connection, c. Pump core damaged;

2. product water pipeline: a. connection part leak, including flange Asymmetrical fix; connection fix;b. suction pump line is too long, can't meet pump require; c. suction pipe connection issue;d. suck pipe line have siphon part; e. backwash valve leak;

3. MBR membrane:a. membrane unite is damageted line;

From local MBR skid situation, we found: 1. Suction pump line have one part siphon, length: 3m; 2.Membrane Cassette outlet connect with suck pump line by UPVC Valve; 3. suction pump didn't design spare valve for emergency; 4.Backwash pipe is smaller than produce water pipe(Backwash line DN32, Produce water DN65); 5. Too many connection between MBR membrane cassette with suction pump;6. No clean water test before installation but trial test directly;7. sludge is too many but no aeration;7. Cassette not fix part

Checking:

1. Put water into suction pump, and check the leaking point, found 2 points; then start suction pump,Pump work but no sludge out, so no membrane damaged possibility.Solve suction pipe and produce water valve part issue;
